Star Spangled Cute: Our Fourth of July Essentials

Beaches, Backyards, BBQ’S.

Fireworks, Food, Friends.

The Fourth of July Holiday weekend is most definitely a wonderful one!!

It is a time to celebrate with our loved ones. Celebrate our freedoms, as well as our love for our country, and a time to have a little fun!!

I personally love this holiday and have always enjoyed dressing for the occasion!!

And this year, even though we are camping out on the beach, we are still prepared with our traditional star spangled attire!!

Here’s what we will be wearing as we celebrate our independence!

Baby’s must haves:

1. Cutest Little Firecracker Onesie: Or some equally as adorable version!! You can find a similar one here.

  1. Navy Blue Bucket Hat: Super important for helping to keep the little ones protected from the blazing summer sun! You can find a similar one here.

  2. Navy Blue Baby Shades: Because not only are they the cutest things this side of the equator, but they also help protect babies delicate little eyes! You can find a similar pair here.

  3. Blue Buglet Bracelet: While The packaging says not suitable for children under 3 due to small parts, Reef is still unable to do much moving these days so I put it on his ankle for a few hours and had it on my wrist while holding him as well. It’s an INGENIUS product that is an all natural bug repellent and so far has worked wonders. You can find one here.

  4. Sturdy Blue Shovel from BEACHMATE: This is just one small part of an even bigger amount of awesomeness that deserves, and will receive, its own post because it truly is that amazing!! In the meantime, you can find one here.

And now, Mommy’s must haves:

1. BBQS & FIREWORKS & FREEDOM! Graphic Tank:  Or some equally as adorable version!! You can find a similar one here.

  1. White Shorts: Because let’s face it, anything that makes our legs look more tan is a good thing!! You can find a similar pair here.

  2. American Flag Swim Suit: Because nothing screams the Fourth of July like an itsybitsy teeny weeny star spangled cute bikini. You can find a similar one here.

  3. Crochet Vest Kimono: Fabulous American Hippy Chic. Need I say more? You can find a similar one here.

  4. A Classic and Fabulous Pair of Shades: To block the sun or hide those tired eyes. Either way you’ll look great!! You can find a similar pair here.

  5. White Straw Brimmed Hat with Leather Strap: Because you are beautiful and wrinkles are real! Protect that pretty face from the sun! You can find one similar here.

What will all of you be wearing for the holiday? Let me know in the comments below and stay tunned for an upcoming giveaway of one of the fabulous products we couldn’t celebrate The 4th of July without!!

Happy Holidays!

  1. Such a fun post! I bought a navy blue romper with anchors on it last year and then wore a red necklace with red lipstick. I’m going to do a repeat this year 🙂 Oh and my daughter Annabelle and I have matching swimsuits from Target so that will be happening too. I hope you and your family have a happy and safe fourth!

    • That sounds SO CUTE!! I am seriously a sucker for Red Lipstick!! It’s my go to! Thank you for all the kind words, our 4th was wonderful and I hope yours was as well!! xo

  2. Love it all! The buglet is so smart & we also have and LOVE the beach mate!!!!!

    • If I could dress you and Izzy matching everyday that would probably be my dream job. OMG can I be your stylist!!! 🙂

  3. All of these things are so cute. I especially love the mommy-must haves! And I just wanted to say I was checking out your site and I live and grew up in Southington…not far from your CT roots!
