Well, in my opinion, one of the best parts of moving back to my husbands hometown of Kailua is the fact that there is a $5 movie theater about a mile from our new home (that we still have not moved into) and about a half mile from my inlaws house (which is where we have been staying since we brought the baby home and until the renovations on the new condo are done… But that’s an entire other blog post to be written at a later date!)
So anyways, my husband convinced me to leave the baby with grandma Botts and go the .5 miles down the street to the $5 theater (honestly it’s the greatest place ever, we got two tickets, two candies, a large icee, small popcorn and two hotdogs for about $25… Seriously)
We decided to see Eddie the Eagle, which is a movie I’ve actually wanted to see since I saw the preview (I’m a sucker for a Cinderella story, but who isn’t?)
Anyways… I am SO GLAD he convinced me to go (even though I checked my phone approximately 100 times to ensure we didn’t receive a message stating we needed to come home because our baby wasn’t breathing… I wish I was joking but that I where my brain goes every 5 to 10 minutes 🙁 )
The movie was wonderful and if you need something to lift your spirits I seriously, seriously recommend it, it’s now in my top ten favorite movies.
And who knew a 4:30pm movie date with your husband could be just what the doctor ordered to make me feel a bit better…
